"Cloud is decent, but hybrid needs work"
PDQ has been solid for our local machines, and the cloud side is alright, but the hybrid setup feels a little hit or miss. Some devices sync without any trouble, while others need way more fiddling than I’d like. Also, the reminders can get aggressive, which gets annoying fast when you’re already trying to troubleshoot stuff. Overall it’s not a bad tool, I just wish mixed environments felt smoother and less naggy.

"pdq has been reliable for alerts and notifications..."
pdq has been reliable for alerts and notifications. I like being able to quickly see when a deployment fails or when a machine needs some attention... definitely saves me from checking things manually all day. Some of the notifications were a bit noisy at first and took some tweaking to get right, but overall it’s been working well for our team

"Works with most of the apps we use"
For the most part, it’s been working fine with our third-party apps. We had a couple little hiccups here and there, but nothing that really slowed us down too much. getting all our tools to play nicely together always feels a bit like organizing a junk drawer, you think it’ll take five minutes and suddenly you’re finding old batteries and random keys. But overall, this has done what we needed it to do...

"Makes remote device updates sooo much easier!!"
PDQ has been a big help for our team, especially with laptops that are constantly off the office network... which is basically all the time now!!
Before this, we were always waiting for people to connect to VPN, or having to track users down just to get updates pushed. Now those off-network machines are way less annoying to deal with, and stuff actually gets updated!!!
Setup was straightforward overall, and the support docs helped a lot when I hit a snag. It’s not perfect 100% of the time, but wow... it saves us a ton of manual work!!

"Inventory was wrong and I had to wait around"
I ordered because the site said the items were in stock, but then my order ended up getting delayed. I also had to sit in the support queue longer than I expected, which was annoying. The support person was fine once I finally got through, but they really need to fix the inventory info so people aren’t ordering things that aren’t actually ready to ship.

"We’ve been using pdq to push..."
We’ve been using pdq to push updates and install apps, and for the most part it’s been a huge time saver. Stuff that used to eat up half the day now takes a few clicks, which is amazing. I mean, it’s not flawless and sometimes it annoys me more than it should, but overall it’s been really helpful for our small IT team. Solid tool, honestly

"Keeps up with our whole fleet"
We’ve got a big fleet with a ton of devices connected, it’s handled everything without slowing down. I was expecting at least a few hiccups, but it’s been smooth and reliable. It’s a huge relief not having to constantly worry about performance anymore.
"PDQ works fine overall, but the dashboard..."
PDQ works fine overall, but the dashboard and menus feel dated and cramped. I found myself clicking around more than I expected just to find basic things, and sometimes it wasn’t really clear where it was supposed to be. It’s not awful, just not the easiest or friendliest to use.

"Easy enough, but not totally smooth"
It was easy to use overall, and I got through most of it without much trouble. Then out of nowhere, a couple parts made me stop and go, okay, why is this like this? Not a huge deal, but it definitely took some figuring out.

"Took me a minute, but it clicked"
There was a small learning curve at first, which was a little frustrating, not a big deal though, because after a bit it just started to make sense

"Setup was shockingly painless"
I expected getting pdq set up to be some giant headache, but it was way easier than I thought. The onboarding steps actually made sense, and I wasn’t stuck digging through a million random pages trying to figure out what to do next. I had one tiny question, and support got back to me super fast, which was such a relief. So far everything has been smooth, and I’m kind of amazed it wasn’t more confusing.
"AD integration felt like more work than it should’ve been"
I picked up PDQ mostly because I needed it to play nicely with Active Directory, that part has been inconsistent for us. Some computers and groups synced fine, but others just didn’t show up the way they should, so I kept having to go back and figure out what was missing or broken.
Support wasn’t bad, but the setup felt clunkier than I expected and not as clearly explained as it could’ve been. For what it costs, I think it’s fair to expect a tool like this to reduce the manual cleanup, not add more of it...

"Pretty easy to adjust for what we needed"
We were setting things up during a busy week, so I was expecting it to be more of a headache, but it was actually simple to tweak most of the settings the way we wanted. I didn’t have to dig around too much or pause everything just to figure it out, which was nice.

"Scans our devices so quickly"
PDQ finds our devices a lot faster than the tool we were using before. I’ll start a scan, take a sip of coffee, and it’s pretty much already finished. It’s a small thing, but not having to sit around waiting on results makes a big difference.

"Good sales experience, but the renewal process could’ve been smoother"
When we first bought the product, the sales team was helpful and easy enough to work with. I don’t really have any complaints about that part of the experience, since they answered our questions and got everything set up without much trouble. The product itself has been good overall too, so this isn’t really about the quality of what we bought. The part that was a little frustrating was the renewal. It felt more pushy than I expected, and the pricing details weren’t as clear upfront as I would’ve liked. We had to ask a few more questions than I think should’ve been necessary just to understand what we were actually agreeing to. In the end, we still like the product, but I do wish the renewal process had been handled in a more straightforward and relaxed way.

"I used PDQ to troubleshoot a few..."
I used PDQ to troubleshoot a few stubborn machines, it made the whole process so much easier!! The diagnostic info was clear, and I could quickly see what was failing without bouncing around between a bunch of places. Definitely saved me a good chunk of time

"Usually works, but of course I still hit the hiccups"
Most of the time, deployments go through without much drama, which I do appreciate. Every now and then, though, I end up having to retry one for no obvious reason, and it always seems to happen right when I’m already dealing with enough. Still, overall it’s been reliable.

"Asset tracking is way less of a hassle now"
I assumed this would be more complicated than it was, but it made tracking our assets straightforward. I can quickly see what’s where without digging around or second-guessing everything

"Docs that actually helped me"
I’ll admit, I made a quick judgment when I first opened the PDQ docs: either this was going to be painless, or I was about to lose an afternoon. Luckily, they were actually easy to follow. The screenshots and examples lined up with what I was seeing on my end, so I wasn’t stuck guessing my way through the setup.
I also watched a couple of their training videos, and they were surprisingly useful. Not overly salesy, not a bunch of fluff, just practical stuff that helped me clean up my deployments faster than expected.

"Support was slower than I expected"
PDQ itself has been mostly fine, but I expected support to be a lot quicker when I ran into an issue. I had to follow up more than once and still ended up waiting around for a response. It’s not a terrible experience overall, but when something breaks, I’m expecting help fairly soon, and the slow replies made it frustrating.
